A 30-year-old learner driver has been busted driving in St Marys unaccompanied, and exceeding the speed limit.
About 2pm on Sunday, April 5 officers attached to Penrith Highway Patrol were conducting patrols in the St Marys area when a 30-year-old male was stopped in Gordon Street, St Marys.
The male was stopped after allegedly being detected at a speed of 110km/h in a 50km/h zone.
The driver produced a learners licence and he was issued infringements for the offences of ‘learner unaccompanied’, ‘not display L plates’ and ‘exceed speed limit by over 45km/h’.
