The 80’s flick ‘The Blues Brothers’ has become a cult classic and now audiences will have a chance to see Jake and Elwood brought to life on stage in ‘The Official Blues Brothers Revue’ when it comes to Rooty Hill RSL this May.

The show has been officially sanctioned by both Dan Aykyord – aka Elwood Blues – and Judith Belushi Pisano, the wife of the late John Belushi.

The Official Blues Brothers Revue stars Wayne Catania as Jake and Kieron Lafferty as Elwood who were chosen by Dan and Judith from over 200 Blues Brothers teams. This stage production brings the much loved story to life, jam-packed with all the comedy, music and mayhem that made the film a worldwide hit.

The show earned rave reviews when it ran for five months at Chicago’s Centre for the Performing Arts in 2004 and has been wowing audiences ever since.

If you’re a fan of the film you won’t want to miss this opportunity to join Jake and Elwood on their ‘mission from God’.

‘The Official Blues Brothers Revue’ will be on at Rooty Hill RSL on Saturday, May 9 at 8pm. Tickets are $39. For more information or to purchase tickets visit http://www.rootyhillrsl.com.au or call 9625 5500.
