Christmas may still be more than a month away but St Clair Youth and Neighbourhood Team (SCYNT) are already thinking of the disadvantaged families in the community.
SCYNT are again collecting donations of food and toys as part of their annual Christmas Food Drive.
For the month of November, local residents can donate in-date food products, non-perishable food items and new toys via donation boxes located at the Autumnleaf Neighbourhood Centre or St Clair Shopping Centre.
The products will be collected and given to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in early December to be packed into hampers and delivered to struggling families across the local area.
“We’re trying to get some help to families in need who we aren’t already directly aware of,” said Kim Carter from SCYNT.
For more information you can call the team on 9834 2708 or visit the Centre on Autumnleaf Parade.
