A man will face court today charged with the murder of a man shot dead in Sydney’s west a week ago.
About 1.15pm last Saturday, a 31-year-old Cranebrook man was shot while standing outside a house in Boldrewood Road at Blackett.
He died at the scene.
Detectives from Mt Druitt Local Area Command and State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad have been conducting exhaustive inquiries into the fatal shooting.
Just before 4.30pm yesterday, they arrested a man at Sydney Airport’s Domestic Terminal.
The 27-year-old Blackett man was taken to St George Police Station and charged with one count of murder.
He has been held in custody to appear in Parramatta Bail Court this morning.
