A fire near Hickey’s Lane in Cranebrook has reignited, with emergency services responding and a water bombing helicopter set to be used.
There are fears that the fire could impact upon homes very shortly.
It comes after a fire at the same location was put out last night. It’s believed that blaze was deliberately lit.
Temperatures have soared in Penrith today, climbing over 44 degrees at 1pm.
