Police are asking for public assistance to locate a boy missing from the local area.
Nine-year-old Jarrod Mckenzie-Hillen left Cambridge Park Public School on Oxford Street, Cambridge Park, at 3.10pm this afternoon, but did not return home.
He was last sighted at 3.50pm, walking north on Richmond Road at Penrith.
He is described as Caucasian appearance, 150cm tall, medium build, with red hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue school shirt and maroon shorts.
Police have concerns for his welfare.
Anyone who sees the boy is urged to contact police immediately.
