Police are appealing for information after several firearms were stolen from a gun club at St Marys last night.
About 8:30pm, an unknown man entered the club on Power Street and broke into two gun lockers.
The man stole a pistol and air rifle before leaving the premises and walking to a vehicle which was parked across the road. The vehicle was then driven from the scene at high speed.
St Marys Police are conducting investigations into the theft and are looking for a man who has been described as being aged in his twenties and wearing a black jumper with white writing across the front.
He was also wearing a dark coloured baseball cap and long dark tracksuit pants.
Police are also looking for a blue Ford Focus with NSW registration BMP-98Y which was also stolen from the club last night.
Investigators attempting to establish whether there are any links between the theft of the car and the firearms.
