The body of a woman has been found inside a home in Colyton.
About 10am, police from St Marys Local Area Command attended a premises in Kent Place Colyton, in concern for the welfare of a resident.
Police found a female deceased in the home.
A crime scene was established and an investigation is ongoing.
A post mortem examination will officially determine how the woman died.
