Penrith is set to get another big soaking over the weekend.
Rain has been falling steadily across the local area all week, with very little sunshine but plenty of wet conditions.
The Weather Bureau says there will be rain tonight, with 25 to 60mm to fall across today.
There will be morning rain tomorrow but things may get better on Sunday, before cloudy and wet conditions return again mid-week.
Rain is also forecast through to next Friday.
