A man wanted for questioning over the stabbing of a pregnant woman at St Clair last month has been found dead.
Police say the man was located deceased at a house in Doonside.
Detectives from Blacktown are investigating the matter and no other details were made available.
About 9.40pm on September 23, a 28-year-old woman was stabbed several times during an assault at her home on Tumut Place in St Clair.
The woman, who is three months pregnant, was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
She was treated for a punctured lung and stab wounds to her back and arm. Scans appear to show her baby is unharmed.
