Police have charged a woman with the alleged glassing of a fellow pub patron in Penrith over the weekend.
About 6.15pm on Saturday, a 19-year-old woman was sitting with a man in the beer garden of a hotel on Station Street in Penrith.
Police will allege the pair was approached by a 28-year-old woman, who threw a schooner glass at them.
The glass struck the face of the teenager and shattered. It left her with a cut to her nose and forehead.
Police from Penrith Local Area Command attended the scene and arrested the 28-year-old.
She has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and affray.
The woman has been granted bail and will appear at Penrith Local Court on November 14.
