Imagination and learning come together in the Creative Play Sessions at the Pioneer Play Festival on Saturday 24 November in Castle Hill!

Over 30 minutes your young person can participate in two fantastic and fun activations:

WALL OF WORDS – it’s the magnet alphabet on your fridge made HUGE for kids to create messages, script or jokes – and our host will help make it hilarious fun!

STAGE IT – your kids take to the stage in this facilitated open-mic-style opportunity. We’ll bring the jokes and scenes, you bring the kids – plus our host will be there to help them shine – and if they have something they want to perform, great! It’s a soft and friendly way to introduce the stage and performing to little ones.

Created and staffed by professional artists the activities are designed to activate and inspire your children. Come and play and get creative!

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while participating in Creative Play.

    Suitable for ages 4-12.

$5 per half hour session (accompanying adults free)

    12pm-12:30pm, Foyer
    1:15 pm-1:45 pm, Tribute Room
    2:30pm to 3pm, Foyer

The Pioneer Play Festival is a 2-day celebration of Australian theatre and performance, in the heart of the hills. Alongside a program that includes the Pioneer Playwright Award, the Sydney premiere of Boy Out of the Country and the 50th Anniversary performance of Norm and Ahmed, we’ll be running a series of short creative play sessions for young people aged 4 to 12.
