Police have set up a crime scene after a teenager was reportedly shot while sitting in a parked car on Tench Avenue last night.
About 11.30pm last night, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were called to Nepean Hospital following reports a man presented with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police were told an 18-year-old man had been shot while seated in a parked vehicle on Tench Avenue, Penrith.
He was treated for a minor injury to his leg.
A crime was established as detectives commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police remain on the scene.
