A woman has been charged after allegedly crashing into a house in Glenmore Park late last night.

About 11.30pm on Friday, emergency services were called to Muru Drive, Glenmore Park, after a Suburu Forester had crashed into a home, causing extensive damage.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle – a 38-year-old woman – was uninjured.

When officers attempted to speak with the woman, she allegedly became aggressive and verbally abusive.

She subjected to a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.

The woman was arrested and taken to St Marys Police Station, where she allegedly refused to undergo a secondary breath analysis.

She was charged with ‘drive vehicle under influence of alcohol’, ‘resist officer in execution of duty’, ‘refuse or fail to submit to breath analysis’, ‘use offensive language in/near public place/school’ and use ‘unregistered registrable Class A motor vehicle on road’.

The woman was granted conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Tuesday, February 22.
