Police appeal to locate missing girl

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s west.

Shyla Chamberlain, aged 14 from Willmot, was last seen at a Nepean medical facility about 7pm yesterday, Tuesday, August 31.

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command were notified a short time later and commenced inquiries to locate Shyla.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Shyla as she has a medical condition and requires immediate treatment.

Shyla is described as having a medium complexion, about 160cm tall, with a slim build and brown shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, black top, and was bare foot.

Police believe Shyla could be in the South Penrith area.

Anyone who sees Shyla is urged not to approach her but to instead call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
