A Penrith bakery has confirmed it’s been visited by a person with COVID-19, forcing its temporary closure.

Penrith Pies & Pastries is expected to be added to NSW Health’s growing venue alert list tonight.

The business is located at the ABCOE Centre in York Road, Jamisontown. While exact times have not been confirmed, it’s understood the case visited the business on Friday, July 9.

Penrith Pies & Pastries is currently closed and working towards a re-opening.

A host of new local venue alerts were this afternoon issued for locations in the local area as the COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread across Sydney.

Anyone who attended any of the following local venues is considered a casual contact and should get tested for COVID-19, and isolate until a negative result is received.
