Man tried to use stolen credit card at brothel

A man has been charged after using a stolen credit card at a brothel on Queen Street in St Marys.

On Saturday, April 6 the man attended the address and attempted to pay for a service with a credit card that had been reported as stolen.

Police were notified that the card had been used and located the offender.

He was searched and a number of items in question were located.

He was charged with two counts of ‘stealing’ and one count of ‘receive stolen property’.

He was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Monday, May 20.
