Police raid houses in cannabis bust

Police are currently searching five homes in Penrith after an investigation led by intel analysis identified suspicions of enhanced drug cultivation.

Two homes are on Barber Avenue and the other three are on Derby Street.

Police established crime scenes and obtained search warrants to investigate the properties.

A large amount of prohibited drugs police allege to be cannabis has been located. Investigations are continuing.
