Police are appealing for public assistance after two girls were approached in St Marys yesterday.
About 5pm yesterday, two nine-year-old girls were riding bicycles along Maple Street when a black vehicle stopped nearby.
Police have been told a male driver lowered the window and spoke with the girls before driving away.
Officers from St Marys Local Area Command are investigating the incident and would like to speak with the man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance in his early 20’s. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap and white t-shirt.
