A recreation of one of the greatest live albums of all time, ‘Hot August Night’, will hit the EVAN Theatre stage next Friday, August 3, thanks to popular and experienced Neil Diamond tribute artist, Peter Byrne.
It has been 40 years since Neil Diamond stepped on stage at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles with a symphony orchestra and recorded what is still known today as one of the greatest epic live albums of all time.
Now that album will be recreated in its original format in a tour with Peter Byrne and the Sydney International Orchestra. Peter always puts on a classy and brilliant show and is guaranteed to have audiences singing, dancing and clapping all night long.
In his time as an entertainer, Peter has received seven ACE (Australian Club Entertainment) Awards, and after receiving another of his many ‘MO’ (Australian Entertainment) Awards for best production show, his talents were acknowledged by the great man himself – Neil Diamond.
Peter’s ‘Hot August Night’ tribute show is performed every August each year in Australia and around the world, including South Africa, the UK, as well as on some of the world’s finest cruise ships. Neil Diamond is a music legend.
The American singer has now been performing for well over 50 years and sold hundreds of millions of records worldwide.
He’s had many number one singles including ‘Cracklin Rosie’, ‘Song Sung Blue’, ‘Sweet Caroline’, ‘Cherry Cherry’ and ‘Love On The Rocks’. Catch Peter Byrne as Neil Diamond at Penrith Panthers next Friday, August 3 at 8pm.
