Panthers Group has congratulated Phil Gould and Di Langmack on their recent “Outstanding Community Service” awards.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Premier, the Hon. Marie Ficarra, MLC, presented the awards at a special ceremony at NSW Parliament, on March 16.

Gould, Panthers’ Rugby League General Manager, was presented with an award for services to Youth and Rugby League, while Langmack, Panthers’ Public Relations Manager, received an award for services to Cure the Future foundation (Cure the Future).

Langmack is the current Chair of Cure the Future, an organisation which helps fund vital medical research into cell and gene therapies to revolutionise the ability to cure diseases such as cancer.

“We are honoured that two of our senior employees have been recognised for their tireless community work,” Panthers’ Chief Executive Officer, Warren Wilson, said today.

“Phil has already made a significant contribution to Rugby League operations on and off the field at Panthers and he continues to give his precious time to community projects right across western Sydney, especially those supporting young people and their families.

“It is also fantastic that Di has received the award as she truly is one of our unsung heroes here at Panthers.

“For many years now, Di has been devoted to charity and community work, whether it be our own Panthers Women in League, or Cure the Future gene and cell trust.

“Panthers congratulates both Phil and Di on their awards and we thank the Hon. Marie Ficarra and Councillor Vince de Luca, who officiated at the event.”
