Two men will appear at court today after police charged them with several offences including an aggravated break and enter at a chemist shop at Kingswood.

About 6am yesterday, two men were observed to break into the rear garage storage area of a chemist shop located on the Great Western Highway.

Police will allege that the men were seen to load items from the storage area into a black VW hatchback and drive away.

Officers from Nepean Police Area Command were contacted and located the VW nearby after it ran out of fuel.

The two occupants of the vehicle, a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, were detained while officers searched the vehicle.

Numerous pharmaceutical products were located along with mail addressed to other people and various other items believed to be unlawfully obtained.

Officers also located a quantity of cannabis and MDMA.

The 21-year-old man was conveyed to Nepean Hospital for blood and urine checks.

Subsequently both men were conveyed to St Marys Police Station where they were later charged with several offences including ‘aggravated break and enter’, ‘goods in custody’, ‘possess drug’, ‘assault police’ and ‘drive whilst disqualified’.

The men have been refused bail and will appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.
