A man has been shot in the leg on Hillcrest Road in Emu Heights this morning.

Police say they were called at about 4.35am to a home following reports of a shooting.

Police from Nepean PAC found a man in his 30s, who had suffered a minor gunshot wound to his leg.

The man was treated at the scene by Ambulance paramedics and transported to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.

“Police established a crime scene and determined that three houses had been struck,” a Police spokesperson said.

“Officers recovered several bullet casings which will be forensically examined.”

Police have appealed for anyone who saw a white car in the area of Hillcrest Road, Balaclava Road or Trafalgar Road prior to the shooting, or as it left the area following the shooting, to come forward.
