Police are investigating after a man was found stabbed in St Marys this morning.
Just before 1am today, a group of youths flagged down police from Nepean Police Area Command on Queen Street, St Marys, as one man had wounds to his arm and chest.
Officers have been told the man was stabbed with a bottle during an altercation with another group of men on nearby Crana Street.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital.
Police established a crime scene and are appealing for any witnesses to the assault to come forward.
