Penrith’s finals hopes have been dealt a blow with Trent Merrin to be out until just before the Finals.
Merrin suffered a high grade medial collateral ligament tear during last Friday’s win over the Warriors and sat out the entire second half.
He doesn’t require surgery but will be out for between six and eight weeks.
