A worker at the Cobham Juvenile Justice Centre was reportedly forced to hide in a bathroom after being allegedly assaulted at the St Marys facility yesterday.
Radio 2GB reported that the woman was bashed and kicked in the head before she crawled into a toilet and locked the door behind her.
Police were called and charges are expected to be laid.
