A man has been killed and an 11-year-old child injured in a motorcycle accident in Mulgoa this afternoon.
The child has been taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
About 2pm, emergency services were called to Mulgoa Road, Mulgoa, following reports a motorcycle had crashed.
The rider, a 42-year-old man, died at the scene.
The 11-year-old was a passenger on the motorcycle and suffered minor injuries.
Officers from Penrith Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
Mulgoa Road is closed between Roscrea Drive and Vincent Avenue in both directions. Local diversions are in place.
