Police have commenced inquiries after a woman was injured at Cambridge Park earlier today.
Emergency services were called to a home on Hollier Street just before 1.30pm today, where they found a 70-year-old woman with a laceration to her arm.
She was treated at the scene.
Police from St Marys Local Area Command attended and were told the woman was involved in an altercation with a male family member.
The man left the home in his car after the incident.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation is underway.
