Fans of the award-winning picture book ‘The Gruffalo’ will be excited to hear that the theatre production of the sequel ‘The Gruffalo’s Child’ will be at the Joan these school holidays.

Children aged four and up will experience the magic, music and puppetry of this delightful musical which offers plenty of laughs along with some scary fun.

The show revolves around the Gruffalo’s child, who ignores her father’s warning and sets out into the deep dark snowy wood. Surely his stories of the Big Bad Mouse aren’t real. Are they?

‘The Gruffalo’s Child’ is produced by CDP, the children’s theatre company responsible for adapting popular books for the stage including ‘The 13-Storey Treehouse’, ‘The 26-Storey Treehouse’, ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘The Incredible Book Eating Boy’.

With plenty of audience involvement, beautiful set design and a story that will have the kids captivated, this is one show not to be missed!

‘The Gruffalo’s Child’ will be on at the Joan on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11 at 10.30am and 1pm. Tickets are $18-$22 and $72 for a family (four people, at least one adult). For more information visit www.thejoan.com.au or call 4723 7600.
