The Panthers have been dealt a double injury blow with Wes Naiqama and Josh Mansour both ruled out for the next six weeks.
Naiqama has a knee ligament problem whilst Mansour has an ankle injury.
Both were hurt during Penrith’s narrow 8-6 loss to Newcastle at Hunter Stadium last weekend.
The injuries add to the Panthers’ problems in the backs, with the side already missing five-eighth Lachan Coote and centre James Roberts through injury.
Penrith has this weekend off before playing Parramata on Monday week.
