EXCLUSIVE: Police divers have today searched Glenmore Loch as the disappearance of Reijo Gronfors becomes even more mysterious.

The Western Weekender can reveal that divers searched the Loch this afternoon as they cover every possibility in relation to the 66-year-old’s disappearance.

As reported earlier, Mr Gronfors was last seen at around 8pm on Saturday night in Friarbird Crescent. He was seen just beforehand at the Glenmore Park Shopping Centre.

Penrith Police Crime Manager, Grant Healey, asked that locals be vigilant and pass on any information about Mr Gronfors’ location to police immediately.

“We currently have SES, RFS, regional squad police, riot squad and Polair attempting to locate Mr Gronfors. We also ask that residents check their backyards as Mr Gronfors may have become disoriented. Anyone with information should call Penrith Police immediately on 1800 333 000,” he said.

Local residents have been asked to check their backyards, sheds, garages and anywhere around their home, as it is possible Mr Gronfors has become disoriented and does not know where he is.
