Officers from the Gang Squad’s Strike Force Raptor have arrested a man in relation to a nightclub brawl in Penrith last year.

Police were told a fight started in the main bar of the nightclub on the intersection of High and Station streets, Penrith, about 12.20am on Sunday, September 18 2011.

The altercation then moved into the car park with a total of 20 people involved at various times throughout the course of the incident.

Four people suffered minor injuries.

Initial investigations indicated the brawl allegedly involved members of the Rebels and Lone Wolf outlaw motorcycle gangs (OMCG).

Five members and associates of the Rebels OMCG were arrested last October in relation to the brawl and are currently before the courts.

Following further investigations, about 10.45pm on Saturday, Strike Force Raptor officers attended the nightclub and arrested a 49-year-old Bossley Park man.

The man was charged with affray and granted conditional bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on January 30.

Investigators are urging anyone with information about the incident who has not yet spoken to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can be supplied anonymously and dealt with in strict confidence.
